Beat Stars<\/h2>\n<p>You may already be familiar with the <a href=\"http:\/\/beatstars.com\" target=\"_blank\">Beat Stars marketplace<\/a>. \u00a0As I&#8217;ve mentioned in a earlier videos, it&#8217;s an excellent third-party website to sell your beats online in my experience. I don&#8217;t make a killing from Beat Stars beat sales,\u00a0but artists regularly purchase my beats\u00a0from the platform. It&#8217;s very\u00a0much worth it for me to have a presence there, and here&#8217;s why:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s an authority website that already gets a substantial amount of traffic (appx. 145,000 visitors per month as of the time this article is posted). And not just any traffic. The targeted traffic you actually want.\u00a0<strong>Artists who are <em>actively<\/em> looking to buy your beats!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s a very minimal investment (you can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beatstars.com\/pricing\" target=\"_blank\">see the various membership tiers here<\/a>) for what you get, and the highly trafficked platform for you to make some extra beat sales and supplement your personal website income.<\/li>\n<li>You can sell your non-exclusive beat licenses (leases), as well as\u00a0have the option\u00a0to sell exclusive rights to artists who have inquired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If I had not have had my\u00a0instrumental catalog on the Beat Stars website, I would have left a big chunk of money\u00a0on the table over the years!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beatstars.com\/tcustomz\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6271\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Beat-stars.png\" alt=\"Beat-stars\" width=\"581\" height=\"292\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Beat-stars.png 581w, https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Beat-stars-300x151.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>3. Soundclick<\/h2>\n<p>Even though there&#8217;s been a lot of talk of\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/selling-beats-on-soundclick-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">decline of Soundclick<\/a> over the years.. it&#8217;s still very much an authority website and an additional online property you should\u00a0occupy and sell your beats on. I&#8217;m not sure that Soundclick will ever get back to where it once was in terms of producers selling their beats to artists, but I wouldn&#8217;t rule it out just yet. Beat Brokerz<\/h2>\n<p>As the name implies, <a href=\"http:\/\/beatbrokerz.com\" target=\"_blank\">Beat Brokerz<\/a> is another third-party marketplace to sell your beats online. They&#8217;ve done a good job to build their brand up and get targeted traffic to the site over the years. \u00a0Artists can discover your beats organically, and as you&#8217;re building up your own branded website &#8211; these sites are great for extra exposure and an expanded brand awareness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beatbrokerz.com\/brands\/tcustomz#\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6277\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/beat-brokerz1.png\" alt=\"beat brokerz\" width=\"328\" height=\"53\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/beat-brokerz1.png 328w, https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/beat-brokerz1-300x48.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>5. YouTube<\/h2>\n<p>This should come as no surprise, being the #3 ranking website in the world and all \ud83d\ude42 You might not think of YouTube\u00a0as a platform to sell your beats directly&#8230; but that&#8217;s just another place your personal website comes into play. Putting out great <a href=\"http:\/\/youtube.com\/tcustomzdotcom\" target=\"_blank\">content on YouTube<\/a> is a super powerful way to attract artists into discovering you, subscribing to the value you provide and over time turning them into customers. \u00a0I\u00a0would also encourage you to do your keyword research and figure out what people in your niche are searching for. This will give you a good idea of some topics or keywords you may want to target. Organic discovery through YouTube and Google is <em>extremely<\/em> powerful from my personal experience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/youtube.com\/tcustomzdotcom\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6278\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/youtube-1024x468.jpg\" alt=\"youtube\" width=\"612\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/youtube-1024x468.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/youtube-300x137.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>6. Soundcloud<\/h2>\n<p>You more than likely already have your <a href=\"http:\/\/soundcloud.com\/tcustomz\" target=\"_blank\">Soundcloud page<\/a> setup and have your beats uploaded there. \u00a0But if not, you definitely want to leverage the traffic and exposure from <a href=\"http:\/\/soundcloud.com\" target=\"_blank\">this platform<\/a>. It&#8217;s free to setup and get started. But I also recommend looking into their paid tiered accounts as well if you&#8217;re a prominent Souncloud user. There&#8217;s a lot of really great additional insights that you won&#8217;t get with the free account, and can help you to better understand your target audience and who is most likely to purchase your beats.<\/p>\n<p>I would consider myself a moderate Souncloud user, however the <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/pro\" target=\"_blank\">pro account<\/a> has proven to work very well for me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/soundcloud.com\/tcustomz\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6280\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/soundcloud-1024x427.jpg\" alt=\"soundcloud\" width=\"642\" height=\"268\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/soundcloud-1024x427.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/soundcloud-300x125.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/soundcloud.jpg 1250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 642px) 100vw, 642px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>7. Reverb Nation<\/h2>\n<p>When I think of Reverb Nation, I generally think of a music platform for bands, musicians, etc.\u00a0But there&#8217;s really a wide array of music available on the site. I shot a video a while back on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tcustomz.com\/blog\/how-to-rank-reverb-nation-charts\/\" target=\"_blank\">how I&#8217;m able to consistently rank #1 in the Reverb Nation charts<\/a> in my city for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">all genres<\/span> of music. \u00a0I step through all the small changes I made to\u00a0rank in the charts and get more exposure for my instrumentals and brand.<\/p>\n<p>Staying at the top of the charts enables me to get more eyeballs on my beats, and drive them back to my website beat store. There are ways to sell your beats directly on Reverb Nation, but I like to use it only as a discovery platform.
